The older one has been far worse than the younger. At least when you tell him to sMilE he gives you a great one so you can see his cute little dimples (even if his eyes are closed)

Say "CHeESe"
Seriously. What is wrong with my boys and pictures? I can NEVER get a good picture of them. I mean they either give a scowl - which they are both very good at OR do some crazy face.

Happy Birthday!
This once so innocent little boy turned 4! He has been talking about the big day for several weeks now. He said that since he is turning 4 that he can have 4 presents. He was pretty upset when I told him that he would probably get more than 4 presents because we were going to have family over that night. What? Who only wants 4 presents? And when I asked him what he would like for his birthday he was quick to tell you the four things he was hoping for: Dinosaur, power washer (thanks to Grandpa Smith), gun and socks.
So that morning he woke up and came running into our bedroom and as soon as we told him Happy Birthday he started telling us the funniest things. He started by telling us to watch how fast he can run. Wow! You can run so fast now, Braden. Then a few minutes later he told us to look at how big his feet were. Holy Cow! They grew so much, Braden. Then he ran to get his blanket and told us that when he holds it he doesn't suck his thumb anymore. Yeah!!! You are such a big 4 year old now - no thumb sucking (that lasted about 12 hours) Then he says to Austin "I don't think I cry anymore. Hit me real hard on the cheek and see if I cry." Austin didn't waste anytime at that free shot. It was hilarious! Sure enough, he didn't even cry (that lasted about 12 hours as well) He kept saying stuff all day. He was 4 now and had a whole different perspective of life. He was so cute! He said mom now do you want me to stay 4 forever? Yeah, but that won't happen . . . . . . .
It was a fun day. He brings so much to our family and we love him to pieces!
