Family ~ how great they are!
I am so very thankful for such a wonderful family. We are so blessed to have the majority of our family living so close. I just have to give a big THANK YOU to my dad. He is the best dad! Today he took Braden with him to run some errands. Braden loves to spend time with his grandparents! It is amazing how much I got accomplished this morning with out him. I love him dearly, but he wants me to constantly play catch or trucks with him. I can only play with trucks so many hours per day you know ~ it's a tough job! So after I put Austin down for a nap I got the whole house picked up and dinner started and even a long, hot shower! It was fabulous. Then to top it off, my dad just called and Braden wanted to eat lunch and take a nap at Grandpa's house! I don' t know how my dad felt about that, but that is fine with me. I am so very thankful that Braden can grow up with both sets of grandparents and have a relationship with them. We are certainly lucky that we can visit them every Sunday. Braden sure has a special bond with them. We or should I say "I" am spoiled too, because Aaron's mom comes to my house to watch the kids while I go get my nails done every other week. He looks forward to that day as well and it is not unusual for him to ask me when I am going to go have them done. He likes to play with anyone who will be bossed around by him. But just wanted to share my thoughts quickly about how grateful I am for such wonderful parents and in-laws.

Our Little Musician!
Braden LOVES music and he is always singing. He actually carries a tune quite well. I was doing laundry today and he was singing the BYU fight song at the top of his lungs. It was so cute! I tried to get it on video but he freezes up when he sees any type of camera. So I had to bribe him to sing it for me on camera and it is a little hard to understand because he was being "forced" but it is the best I could do. Aaron would sing this song to him at night during their male bonding time (Braden would always invite me to leave the room) and there were some nights that all of a sudden I would hear Braden yelling at the top of his lungs, "Go cougars, come on cougars, touchdown!" So anyone who knows Aaron knows that Braden is following in his daddy's footsteps.

Let it snow!
And snow it did! This is how much snow we got in one day . . . can you even belive it? It is so wonderful. It doesn't seem like the Christmas season without the snow so we are really excited and now you can feel Christmas in the air. Braden was very excited to see this much snow.
This is a cute snowman that daddy and Braden made. They had lots of fun out in the cold snow. (Oh, and by the way, I asked Aaron what that leaf was on the snowman and he honestly swears that it just blew there)

Wagon Rides, Anyone?
Okay, so Braden LOVES to pull things. He has this little wagon, that I am sure is not supposed to have over 10 lbs. in it, but yesterday he got this bright idea that Austin was just dying to be pulled in it. I saw him come out of his room all excited and talking to Austin about 2 inches from his face saying, "come on brohter, I will give you a ride, it will be fun!" (as he was attempting to put him in the wagon) So I put him in for just a short little ride and Braden thought this was the best thing ever! He pulled him in that for I bet 30 minutes before Austin was wagon sick. Now he wants to pull him every minute that Austin is awake.

Pictures . . . finally!

So I was putting off getting Austin's pictures done because in the past it has always been such a headache with Braden. Every time I took Braden to get pictures done he would seriously just scream. I could never figure it out and it was more stress on me than it was worth. But, I knew that I needed to get Austin's pictures done before he lost his chubby little round baby face. I was a little nervous but I scheduled the appointment and of course the only times they had available were the ones nobody else wanted because it was NAP TIME. But off to Target we went. I was explaining to Braden on the way there what was going to happen so for whatever reason he has a fear of studios he would at least know before going into it. Aaron was going to meet me there, but like his usual schedule he was just a few minutes late. So I took the boys into the store and put them in a cart and headed for the portrait studio. Without fail as soon as we arrived Braden instantly started to panic and practically jumped into my arms from the cart and gave me the death grip and began his usual routine for pictures. I was not to happy at that because I was afraid that he was going to scare Austin and then we would have the same senario with him. So I hurried and took Austin out of his car seat and put him on the blanket and told the lady to get to work! Braden was still standing in the corner saying, "hold me please mom just hold me." Just then Aaron arrived and 10 seconds later (it really was that fast) the lady told me we were finished! I am hoping it is a good thing that Austin was so pleasant and Braden was able to see that because we have a family picture scheduled for December. I am already dreading that day, but why would I expect to get a picture of Braden smiling when all the ones we have of him are either crying or making a sour face. But here is some pictures of Austin, and lets hope that he continues to be a good picture taker!!
